Cancellation & Refund Policy

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay Payment Gateway. This policy applies to all purchases made on BuildVerse.

1. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order or subscription under the following conditions:

  • Digital Products: Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase and before accessing the content
  • Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Premium Features: Cancellation requests for premium features must be submitted within 48 hours of activation

2. How to Cancel

To cancel an order or subscription:

  • Log in to your BuildVerse account
  • Navigate to "My Orders" or "Subscriptions"
  • Select the order/subscription you wish to cancel
  • Click "Request Cancellation" and provide a reason
  • Alternatively, contact our support team at support@buildverse.com

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are available under the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues preventing access to purchased content (after troubleshooting attempts)
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Content significantly different from description
  • Cancellation within the eligible timeframe (as mentioned above)

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Digital content that has been accessed or downloaded
  • Subscriptions after the cancellation period has ended
  • Promotional or discounted purchases (unless required by law)
  • Gift cards or promotional codes

5. Refund Process

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • The refund will be credited to the original payment method used
  • Razorpay processing time may take an additional 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed

6. Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted:

  • Subscription cancellations mid-cycle (prorated amount)
  • Partial use of services or content
  • Technical issues affecting only part of the purchased content

7. Payment Gateway Information

All transactions are secured with industry-standard encryption. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant and ensures the highest level of payment security.

8. Disputed Charges

If you notice an unauthorized or incorrect charge:

  • Contact us immediately at billing@buildverse.com
  • Provide transaction details (order ID, date, amount)
  • We will investigate and respond within 48 hours
  • Do not initiate a chargeback before contacting us

9. Subscription Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal. To avoid charges, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

10. Exceptions

We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. Refund decisions made by BuildVerse are final.
